Engagement: Solomon – Barko | News, Sports, Work

Priscilla Solomon and Bob Barko Jr., both of Youngstown, have announced their engagement and are planning their wedding.

The intended bride was born and raised in Salem. She attended United Local High School.

After graduating from high school, she earned a certificate in medical office administration from Columbiana County Career and Technical Center and then earned her cosmetology license from Raphael’s School of Beauty and Culture in 2012. In 2014, she started her own business, Priscilla’s Housekeeping Services.

A lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley, the intended fiancé attended Boardman High School and graduated from Youngstown State University in 1993. He is an Air Force Reserve Technician, assigned as the 910th Airlift Wing Public Affairs Superintendent at Youngstown Air Reserve Station. He also founded his own company, Steel Town Studios, in 2000.

The couple will be joined in marriage in a ceremony at the Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Youngstown. Invitations have been issued for the ceremony and reception at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station Community Activity Center.
