Discipline, respect… and what was the third pillar?

There was little enthusiasm during the early portion of UCLA football’s media-friendly practice this week, with players quietly going about their business, ignoring one of their coach’s cardinal rules. Cornerback Kaylin Moore said coaches gathered players for the second time in one session because of a lack of energy.

Coach DeShaun Foster denied claims his team was in disarray after just two games, saying the energy level was “just what I needed” as the Bruins (1-1) prepared to face No. 16 Louisiana State (2-1) on Saturday at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
