Haley Softge Preservation marks the completion of the sixth phase of the River Parc Master Plan, a transformational project along the Miami River to revitalize a 22-acre historic public housing site into a vibrant, mixed-income community.

The 240 units, designed specifically for low-income seniors, represent a significant investment in providing safe, affordable housing for seniors. All 240 units have undergone a Section 18 Blend Conversion under the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program. The original studio units have been converted to 1-BR units and are designed for low-income seniors.

“The reopening of Haley Sofge 800 marks a key milestone in realizing our vision for the River Parc Master Plan,” said Albert Milo, president of Related Urban, the affordable and mixed-income division of Related Group. “This investment not only preserves 240 units of affordable housing; it enhances the Little Havana community; it also reflects our ongoing mission to ‘build better cities’ by providing safe, dignified living spaces for our senior citizens. We are proud to partner with Miami-Dade County to make this vision a reality and look forward to future opportunities to enhance our neighborhoods.”

The event was attended by Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Miami-Dade County Precinct 5 Commissioner Eileen Higgins, Related Group President Jon Paul Pérez and Related Urban President Albert Milo.
