Insiders Say Daniel Craig’s Career Change Will ‘Do Wonders’ for His Marriage to Rachel Weisz

While Daniel Craig was one of the biggest stars in the world as James Bond, fulfilling his and many others’ dreams, insiders say his marriage to Rachel Weisz was in trouble in the meantime; but now that has all changed.

Insiders recently opened up to Closer Weekly about the toll that playing James Bond has allegedly taken on Craig and Weisz’s marriage.

“Everyone knows they’ve had his issues, but things have calmed down a lot. Not having the responsibility of playing James Bond has done wonders for their relationship because Daniel can finally be a lot more present,” a source told the outlet. (Craig played James Bond from 2012 to 2021.)

“The role was so demanding, not just the filming schedules… the level of commitment it took to stay in shape year-round, all the training sessions and diets” made him “very difficult to live with,” the source added. “He really threw himself into it in such an intense way. And then there was all the drinking, which was not conducive to a happy marriage.”

However, after his stint as James Bond ended, their relationship was reportedly stronger than ever before.

“He admits he wasn’t the most attentive husband, but that’s changed… He’s centered his world around Rachel now and has a lot more time to pamper her,” the source said. “She’s been there for him through thick and thin, and they couldn’t be happier. The icing on the cake is that it looks like this movie could win him an Oscar. He’s thrilled about the success and that he’s in a better place with Rachel, and everyone has noticed how much happier he is now.”

For those who don’t know, Weisz and Craig were friends for a long time before they started working together on the 2011 film. Dream house. However, on the film set they fell in love. They started dating in December 2010, and in June 2011 they were already married.

They have one daughter, Grace, born in September 2018, but they are a beautiful, blended family. Weisz has a son named Henry, born in May 2006, and Craig welcomed a daughter named Ella in 1992.
