Norris starts from pole position but has been unlucky to defend it in the opening laps of the season, while Verstappen will certainly be looking to improve on P2 at the first corner. Where to watch the Singapore Formula 1 race live for free

We’ve used these free live F1 streams all season (and last season) and have double-checked the VPN’s compatibility with each channel’s programming schedule to make sure the race was on. These channels show every race, with the exception of the Austrian option, as the races alternate weekends between ORF1 and Servus TV – ORF1 has the Singapore GP.

Will there be longer footage of the Formula 1 race in Singapore later?

In the UK, Channel 4 will air an extended highlights programme a few hours after tonight’s race at 12:30pm EST / 5:30pm UK / 6:30pm CET / 12:30pm CET

While this recap show usually features a ton of pre- and post-race discussions and interviews, the bulk of the time is usually devoted to the race itself. For example, the first live race lasted about 92 minutes, and I measured the recap segment at 72 minutes. This week’s show runs a very generous 150 minutes.

Overall, this is still my favorite viewing option, comparable to paying for a subscription service or watching the movie without English commentary.

You can also watch these highlights on demand the next day. That said, we sometimes find this version to be a bit shorter than the regular highlights show.

How to watch the Singapore Formula 1 race live in the US

ESPN is covering the remaining Formula 1 races this season. You have a few options to consider when it comes to ditching cable. How to watch the Singapore Formula 1 race live stream in the UK

Want a free option? Channel 4 airs an excellent extended highlights programme (see above) a few hours after each race, which is a solid alternative given the length of the programme. They even air qualifying highlights a few hours after the previous day’s finish each week.

If you really want to see everything liveSky Sports’ offering is the way to go, and it’s a great way to get it in glorious 4K. Sky covers every race weekend, so you won’t have to switch between it and networks like TNT as you do for the Premier League.

If you don’t want to sign up to a traditional TV contract and prefer a monthly option that you can opt out of, the Sky Now TV offshoot offers a Sky Sports package, priced at £11.99 for a day pass and £34.99 for a month.

The main advantage of Now TV is that it works on a monthly contract, but if you need it weekly, you’re probably better off buying a proper Sky Sports package as you’ll get a lot more for your money. Plus, Now TV is still in the dark ages and has the nerve to charge additional for HD in 2024.
