Sophie Turner Shares Rare Details About Her ‘Intense’ ‘Joan’ Character

Sophie Turner recently admitted that she felt emotional after filming intense scenes for her upcoming TV series Joan.

According to Daily mailthis Game of Thrones The star confessed that she became more sensitive while filming the traumatic scenes in which she plays the role of a mother.

During the press conference, the 28-year-old actress mentioned that she found it easy to cry on set because she got carried away by her emotions, adding, “I’m a Pisces, I’m emotional.”

Sophie has reportedly taken on the role of real-life Joan Hannington, the “Godmother,” in her upcoming drama series.

Speaking about her character, she explained: “She’s so funny, but she’s been through a lot of trauma and she’s so ambitious.”

“There really is so much to her – the mother, the lover, the liar, the thief. It’s just extraordinary that all of this is a true story,” she continued.

It is worth noting that the upcoming miniseries Sophie on TVV will premiere on October 2, 2024.

For the uninitiated, Sophie recently went Instagram official with her new boyfriend, Peregrine Pearson, following her tumultuous split from Joe Jonas in September 2023.

The former spouses are raising their two daughters together: four-year-old Willa Jonas and two-year-old Delphine Jonas.
