An action thriller by Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, directed by Vasan Bal, which tells the story of a young girl who fights against all odds to get her brother out of prison abroad. With a strong theme of a woman’s warrior spirit, Jigra also tells the story of a sibling bond. Jigra will hit the screens on October 11, 2024. Jigra is jointly produced by Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt.

2. To Patti

The film Do Patti Kanika Dhillon stars Kajol and Kriti Sanon in pivotal roles. The cop thriller is the debut film of Kanika’s production house Kathha Pictures and will be released exclusively on Netflix. The script is written by Kanika Dhillon herself and directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi.

3. Gandhari

Taapsee’s upcoming film Pannu Gandhari is a powerful female-driven revenge drama. It marks the sixth collaboration of writer-producer Kanika Dhillon and Taapsee, and is directed by Devashish Makhija. The team is gearing up to start shooting in November.

4. Mom

Maa starring Kajol is one of the most awaited films. The shooting of the film directed by Vishal Furia has been completed and we are eagerly waiting for it to hit the screens. Maa is produced by Ajay Devgn under the banner of Devgn Films.

5. Mrs.

The film stars Sanya Malhotra in the lead role, directed by Aarti Kadav. It is an extremely complex character of a woman who has studied dance and has been a teacher, but at the same time takes on the responsibility of being a wife after marriage and tries to find her own path to define her voice and personal identity, to be free in self-expression despite the concerns of the society about her married life. The film is an official remake of the Malayalam comedy-drama, The Great Indian Kitchen.
