Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon stuns in sequin bikini in new sun-kissed photo

It’s safe to say that Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes Leon, inherited her bold sense of style, characterized by revealing silhouettes, cutouts, and a healthy dose of sparkle.

The 27-year-old model and musician showed off her fashion skills in a new set of photos shared on Instagram, a compilation of some recent memories.

However, her main photo set the tone for the entire show perfectly, as posed for a selfie while shielding herself from the sun on the beach in a skimpy white thong bikini.

The bikini top was covered in holographic sequins and she left her hair down to hit the beach. She styled her look with a white tote bag and flip-flops by Christian Dior.

Other photos also showed her style sensibilities, including one taken backstage before a performance in which she wore a nude leotard with cutouts, camouflage shorts that revealed a tattoo on her leg, a white tube dress with cutouts, a halter top, and other outfits.

In a conversation with Interview magazine, Lourdes (also known by her stage name Lola and stage name Lolahol) spoke with close family friend Debi Mazar about her style philosophy and was even asked if she shares clothes with her famous mom.

“Yeah, but now she has a lock on her closet,” she revealed. “When she’s not home, that stuff is locked up tight because I take whatever I think is mine.”

She also spoke about her ambitions for modeling, saying she wants to create a more comprehensive image of models in general. “I want to create a world where models have more power over what they do, and they’re not just silent clothes hangers. That’s the age we’re entering in fashion: models as personalities and artists.”

However, she also revealed that her mother asked her to be “cautious” when entering the entertainment industry, as she did. “She’s very much like, ‘Proceed with caution and think about what you want to be known for.'”

“I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately because as a ‘model’ you’re basically relying on your looks. It can be very overwhelming and potentially cause a lot of insecurity. Obviously, you’re not going to look the same your whole life.”

“My mom is really insistent that I think about what I want to be known for beyond my looks. I don’t want people to remember me that way. It’s not real.”

Lourdes added: “She told me something recently that really stuck with me. I was very keen to have a decent life and I wanted to live a more luxurious life than I did when I first got out of college and didn’t make a lot of money.”

“She said, ‘Remember, this (expletive) isn’t real. It’s not about the money, your face, or how hot you look. It’s about what you bring to the world and what you leave behind.’ That always wakes me up when I get too caught up in it all.”
