When you make a decisive move in overtime, you can celebrate your choice.

Colorado star Travis Hunter decided to interrupt Kai Cena’s creeping celebration after forcing a turnover that gave the Buffaloes a 38-31 victory over Baylor on Saturday.

“He really did it,” Cenat said in response to a video of the celebration. “Yo, that’s my celebration.”

Hunter was also asked about it after the match and told reporters (at 5:35), “I had to do it. I promised myself that if I made a big move, I would celebrate. So I did it for him. Credit to Kai as well.”

Hunter earned the celebration with a sensational game that included seven catches for 130 yards on offense and a memorable forced fumble on defense. Baylor appeared to respond to Colorado’s touchdown on the first possession of overtime with a touchdown of its own, but the versatile star knocked the ball away from Dominic Richardson at the goal line.

The ball rolled out of the end zone for a touchback, and the Buffaloes responded by storming the field.

However, they had to be removed from the pitch as officials reviewed the play to see if Richardson had broken the plane before the ball was kicked. When the officials confirmed the decision on the pitch, the students attacked again.

The evening of celebration, however, only took place thanks to the dramatic end to the regulations.

Baylor had a seven-point lead and was one play away from a road win when Shedeur Sanders threw a Hail Mary as time expired. That Hail Mary went straight into the waiting arms of LaJohntay Wester in a play that will long be remembered in Colorado.

Then it was Hunter’s turn to be the hero, much to the delight of Buffaloes fans.

And his celebration delighted one of the most famous streamers in the world.
