Robert F. Kennedy Jr. claims celebrity journalist Olivia Nuzzi was “obsessed” with him and plans to file a civil lawsuit against him. New York Magazine journalist, sources close to the scion report.

Allies of the former independent presidential candidate say that after interviewing the then-White House candidate in California for an article, Nuzzi “aggressively” pursued him.

According to Jessica Read Kraus, an “independent” journalist and self-proclaimed friend of Kennedy, the self-proclaimed “Make America Healthy Again” candidate first cut ties with Nuzzi after she allegedly made a flirtatious remark two weeks after her November 2023 article about him was published in new York.

“A few weeks later, Nuzzi emailed her asking to be unblocked, claiming she had urgent information about a story being prepared against him,” Kraus alleged in a Substack newsletter sent to his nearly 400,000 subscribers. “He unblocked her for that conversation, but later that night she sent him a provocative photo, prompting him to block her again.”

Kraus said that for eight months, Kennedy blocked Nuzzi, except when she allegedly contacted him from different email addresses and phone numbers, “insisting” that they discuss an “imminent assassination plot.”

“Once unblocked, she bombarded him with increasingly pornographic photos and videos that he found difficult to resist,” she continued.

Diaries from 2001, apparently belonging to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., detailed his serial infidelities while he was married to his second wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy.

Kennedy’s apparent inability to resist seduction mirrors his self-victimizing rhetoric described in 2001 diaries obtained by the Job who meticulously detailed his serial infidelities while married to his second wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy.

The environmental lawyer of the time used the term “assault” as if he were an unwitting participant when he was unfaithful, and “victory” when he did not succumb to a woman’s temptations. In Kennedy’s version, he was entirely innocent. More than two decades later, the tone of President John F. Kennedy’s nephew has apparently not changed.

According to security expert Gavin de Becker, who is supposed to be investigating the Nuzzi-Kennedy “situation” on Kennedy’s behalf, the former presidential candidate is considering filing civil charges against the journalist, with the possibility of future criminal charges.

“It had nothing to do with love,” de Becker said. “He was being chased by porn.”

Nuzzi’s camp has refuted claims by Kennedy and her allies that she was “obsessed” with the environmentalist-turned-politician and single-handedly sparked the “digital relationship,” but acknowledged that the relationship was sometimes strained.

“It is absolutely false that she was the aggressor, but both parties were aware of the high pressure and risk that the circumstances represented and for this reason their communication was very intermittent,” a person close to the political journalist told the Job.

Nuzzi and Kennedy’s alleged romance began shortly after they met during his third-party presidential campaign last year and remained strictly digital. According to Puck News, the two began “sexting” and Nuzzi sent Kennedy “modest” nude photos. “The relationship was never physical but should have been disclosed to avoid the appearance of conflict,” Nuzzi said in a statement.

Kennedy is married to Limit your enthusiasm actress Cheryl Hines, while Nuzzi was engaged to Policy journalist Ryan Lizza. She and Lizza have since split.

New York Magazine The Washington correspondent placed Nuzzi on leave Thursday after editors became aware of the cross-border relationship. An independent investigation into the Washington correspondent’s conduct is underway.

Meanwhile, Kennedy’s team has officially denied the alleged affair, repeating that he and Nuzzi only met in person “once in his life for an interview she requested, which resulted in a damning article.” His wife has yet to comment on the scandal. But, according to Page Six, friends say the actress is “not an easy person to deal with.”

Hines was spotted at a party after Milan Fashion Week on Friday, seemingly without a wedding ring. While celebrating her birthday on Saturday, she shared photos of herself at a birthday party with her daughter Catherine Young and Kennedy’s daughter Kyra.

Hines and Kennedy’s relationship has been at the center of much controversy. The couple met in 2006, while Kennedy was still married to his second wife, and began publicly dating in 2011, just after he filed for divorce.

In 2014, the same year the actress and Kennedy married, it was revealed that during his second marriage, he had the contact information of dozens of women listed alphabetically under the letter “G.” Mary Richardson Kennedy claimed the letter was short for “goomar,” Italian slang for mistress.

One of the women on the list was Hines.
