Here are some of the most important events that will give you a foretaste of the third day of the prestigious fashion week.

Milan Fashion Week, since it opened on September 17, has been offering individual looks, suitable for the fall season. In addition, renowned designers are also setting the stage for spring-summer 2025 with their ethereal outfits. Thursday was the third day of the fashion week, presenting masterpieces from brands such as Prada, Maccapani, Armani and Moschino. Here are some highlights to give you a glimpse of the third day of the prestigious fashion week.

Prada Women’s Clothing Previews

Prada’s spring/summer 2025 womenswear collection is all about versatile skirts, suspended from rings on belts around the waist, transporting fashionistas back to the ’90s. Leather A-line skirts with hoop cutouts, high-waisted trousers and knits featured two-dimensional collars and a postmodern, futuristic touch. Sunglasses and topless hats with tinted panels were the designers’ focus.

Emporio Armani Collection

The Emporio Armani collection, Future Perfect, was a fresh twist on men’s codes that also reinvented ties. Women wore men’s suits, with a sequined tie worn playfully as a bandeau top under a blazer. However, they balanced masculinity and femininity by incorporating soft jackets and flowing trousers, blouses and outerwear. The color palette included muted neutrals and light shades along with beads and sequins.

Max Mara Collection

Max Mara designers presented asymmetrical, draped dresses or voluminous skirts and a revival of the 80s side-tie blazer. The brand’s signature monochromatic outfits also included a touch of sensuality through the use of bras, slits and cutouts for oomph. In addition, long jackets and hemlines offered ample coverage. A sleek white shirt with fold-over cuffs and a leg-baring jacket/bodysuit combination were the brand’s signature outerwear.

Moschino

Moschino creative director Adrian Appiolaza presented a collection consisting of white dresses on cotton canvas with twisted, tied and draped elements, decorated with ruffles and cutouts.

In his third collection for the brand, the designer continued his love of graphic prints and proportions, introducing the little black dress and floral motifs.

Maccapani

Margherita Maccapani Missoni named her new fashion baby after herself and chose a fashion philosophy that is a combination of old and new. The Maccapani brand was not only the well-known cotton version, but also jacquard and lurex. In addition, streetwear or sportswear had a feminine and elegant touch, perfectly combined.
