Khadijah Haqq doesn’t want to pay her ex-husband

Khadijah Haqq and Bobby McCray have ended their relationship after 13 years of marriage, and the divorce drama is already getting complicated over money as both are seeking alimony. Haqq has listed irreconcilable differences and the reason for the breakup. The differences between the couple are becoming apparent as they can’t agree on anything when it comes to ending their relationship.

According to In touch, Haqq filed for divorce on August 16. As a result, McCray filed for spousal support on August 16. However, the mother of four does not want to come up with the money. In fact, she asked for McCray’s petition to be denied and then demanded that her soon-to-be ex-husband pay her monthly alimony.

During their marriage, Haqq and McCray welcomed three children: Christian (13), Celine (10), and Kapri (3). Before he met best friend Khloe Kardashian, McCray had a son, Bobby III, making Haqq a stepmother. As for their three children, Haqq is seeking primary physical and legal custody. In court documents, McCray is seeking joint custody of the children.

The 41-year-old mother is asking McCray to cover the legal costs of the divorce proceedings, while McCray is asking Haqq to do the same. Additionally, Haqq has listed their separation date as July 17, 2023, the couple’s 13th wedding anniversary. McCray disagrees, saying the couple split on July 7, 2023.

As expected, the former couple has amassed a fortune together. Haqq’s lawyer said they are still considering how to divide their assets.

“(Khadijah) is not currently aware of the full nature and scope of the community and quasi-community assets and liabilities. (Khadijah) requests the court’s permission to amend this response once it has been determined,” they said.

Khadijah Haqq announced her divorce via social media

While the couple has remained tight-lipped about their relationship, Haqq decided a year ago that it would be best to announce her divorce from Bobby McCray, a former NFL player who played for the Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints.

“I have relied on prayer more than ever now. Family is so important to me. Unfortunately, life has thrown me into a huge transition. After 13 years of marriage, 16 years together, and 4 amazing children, I have come to the incredibly difficult conclusion that while Bobby and I love each other very much, it would be best for us to move forward separately,” Haqq announced. “I did not make this decision lightly. I have kept my relationship private for the most part for the good of our family. I share this not because I think it is newsworthy — but so that we can live honestly and begin the journey of co-parenting. I am so grateful for my incredible support system,” she wrote.

Khloe Kardashian hasn’t publicly commented on her best friend’s divorce, but she’s apparently part of her support group. According to In touch, They met just before the millennium in 1999 and have been close ever since. Another part of their trio, Haqq’s twin sister Malika, also supported her sister.

You may remember that Malika welcomed a baby boy in 2020 as part of OT Genasis. Before their son was born, the two ended their relationship, but they report a healthy and happy co-parenting relationship.
