Jamie Foxx gets emotional as his daughter Corinne marries fiancé in intimate ceremony

Jamie Foxx was moved to tears as he walked his daughter, Corinne Fox, down the aisle as she married her fiancé, Joe Hooten.

Actor Garcelle Beauvais – who starred in The Jamie Foxx Show with the actor – on September 22, he posted photos from the intimate ceremony on Instagram.

In a post that has since been deleted, published by PeopleOne of the photos shows Jamie in a black and white tuxedo, walking his daughter down the aisle.

He was captured crying and smiling while his arm was wrapped around his daughter’s shoulder. For her big day, Corinne wore a white off-the-shoulder gown with a floral print and a matching veil.

Another photo shows Corinne and Jamie on the dance floor, likely doing the traditional father-daughter dance at the wedding.

In addition to the father-daughter duo, Beauvais also shared a photo of herself with the bride and groom, who matched their tuxedos with a white boutonniere.

“Last night we got to witness and celebrate the love of @corinnefoxx and @joe.hooten,” Beauvais wrote in the caption of her post, according to People“Your love and respect for each other is tangible.”

In December, Corinne — Jamie’s daughter with his ex, Connie Kline — first announced her engagement. She took to Instagram to share black-and-white photos of herself and Hooten on a boat, showing off her diamond ring. “From the first time I saw you, I knew you were my forever baby,” she wrote in the caption at the time.

Jamie also shared photos of his daughter and her then-fiancé, as well as a sweet tribute, to celebrate the engagement.

“@corinnefoxx @joe.hooten you are the perfect example of what it means to be in love… You take care of each other’s mental and physical lives… and you have each other’s backs… congrats on your engagement,” he wrote in an Instagram post. He then sweetly shared how Hooten asked Corinne’s father for permission to get married.

“@joe.hooten when you whispered to me a while back that you were going to ask my little girl to marry me I had tears of joy in my soul,” Jamie continued. “And @corinnefoxx you have… and always have had a special place in my heart… you deserve love in abundance… so once again congratulations to you too… I can’t wait to walk you down the aisle… @corinnefoxx you have an amazing soul in @joe.hooten I LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUCH… I have tissues ready.”

The newlyweds met in 2018 through a mutual friend while they were students at the University of Southern California, but they didn’t officially start dating until later.

“It wasn’t until after college that we reconnected over Instagram,” Corinne told wedding website Over the Moon earlier this month. “I was brave and liked an old picture of Joe on Instagram. He immediately messaged me and asked me out. Our first date was on a sailboat where Joe was living at the time.”
