Gisele Bündchen Becomes Instagram Official with Joaquim Valente

To celebrate the end of summer, Gisele Bündchen, like many of us, posted a gallery of some of the season’s highlights on Instagram. And amidst the food and sunset photos, she hit a relationship milestone and made her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, Instagram official.

“The best summer ever! ” Bündchen wrote in the caption.

In the eighth photo in the gallery, the jiu-jitsu instructor, who has been dating the supermodel since June 2023, can be seen paddleboarding with her and Tom Brady’s ex’s 14-year-old son, Benjamin Brady. While Valente paddles a bit further ahead of Benjamin in black trunks, Benjamin follows close behind in white trunks. Some good old familial bonding, if you ask us!

Other photos in the gallery include Bündchen enjoying the picturesque sand dunes of the Lençóis Maranheses in Brazil, a tempting photo of chocolate-covered strawberries, a sweet photo of her cuddling her 11-year-old daughter Vivian, and her reflection in a skimpy leopard-print bikini. All in all, it looks like Bündchen had quite the summer filled with family, love, and delicious food.

As a reminder, prior to her relationship with Valente, Bündchen split from ex-husband Tom Brady in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.

“Sometimes we grow together, and sometimes we grow apart,” she once said. Vanity fair their breakup. “When I was 26 and he was 29, we met, we wanted a family, we wanted something together. Over time, we realized that we just wanted different things and now we have to make a choice.”

“It doesn’t mean you don’t love that person,” she explained. “It just means that in order to be authentic and really live the life you want, you have to have someone who can meet you halfway, right? It’s a dance. It’s a balance.”

“When you love someone, you don’t put them in prison and say, ‘You have to live this life,’” she said. “You give them the freedom to be who they are, and if you want to fly in the same direction, that’s amazing.” It seems that Bündchen has found her freedom!
