Even a style icon like Snoop Dogg has his limits.

In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, the 52-year-old rapper revealed what fashion trend he doesn’t support: skinny jeans.

“I’m skinny, so it’s gonna be tough getting in and out of these motherfuckers, so please don’t do that,” Snoop tells PEOPLE exclusively. “There’s a limit to skinny, you know what I’m saying?”

The star continued: “We can’t do that because I can’t have someone help me take my pants off like, ‘Take it off for me.’ We won’t do that. We won’t do that.”

“We work together as a great ideation team, and she understands fashion, she understands fabrics, she understands my look, my style,” Snoop says of their collaboration. “So it’s easy to work with someone who can take your ideas and bring them to life, not just on paper but on your body.”

The rapper adds of Coles: “She understands me. So we never argue.”

“For example,” he continues, “if I were doing a shoot for Louis Vuitton or Gucci, I would have her go with them so they wouldn’t pull out something extravagant that I definitely wouldn’t wear, because they like to experiment in these ads. And we don’t experiment. We bring the bow tie into the ad. You give us this wardrobe and see what we do with it.”
