The Cincinnati Bengals (0-2) host the Washington Commanders in NFL Week 3 action on “Monday Night Football.”

Cincinnati is coming off a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and Washington is coming off a win against the New York Giants.

Wide receiver Tee Higgins returned to practice for the Bengals this week after missing the first two weeks of the season with a hamstring injury. Higgins said he expects to play tonight.

Kicker Evan McPherson converted a 28-yard field goal to get the Bengals within 4 points in the second quarter. Washington takes over with 5:25 remaining in the first half.

Right tackle Trent Brown was carted off the field in the second quarter. Rookie first-round draft pick Amarius Mims is in the game.

The Commanders have 131 yards on offense compared to the Bengals’ 118. The Bengals are about to start their third offensive drive of the game in the second quarter.

The Bengals’ defense couldn’t get a stop on its second drive of the game and running back Austin Eckeler scored on a 24-yard touchdown run. Kicker Austin Seibert converted the point-after-touchdown attempt.

Kicker Evan McPherson missed a 48-yard field goal on the second play of the second quarter.

The Bengals and Commanders both scored touchdowns on their first offensive drives. The Bengals have the ball on the Commanders’ 30-yard line and it’ll be third-and-11 to start the second quarter.

Running back Brian Robinson scored on a run from the inch-line and kicker Austin Seibert converted the point-after-touchdown attempt to tie the game after a 10-play, 70-yard drive.

The Bengals marched down the field and capped a 6-play, 71-yard drive with a 41-yard touchdown pass from Burrow to Chase. Kicker McPherson converted the point-after-touchdown attempt.

The Bengals face the Commanders and will start the game on offense.

The Bengals closed as 7.5-point favorites (-105), according to BetMGM, and the over/under point total is 46.

Former running back Corey Dilllon and defensive tackle Tim Krumrie will be inducted in the Bengals’ Ring of Honor tonight. Dillon 8,061 yards and 45 touchdowns in his seven seasons in Cincinnati. He finished his career with 11,241`yards and 82 touchdowns.

Bengals wide receiver Trenton Irwin is inactive tonight against the Washington Commanders.
