WATCH: Official Trailer for ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’

LOS ANGELES — After the first trailer for Wizards of Waverly Place was released earlier this summer, fans have been eagerly awaiting the next glimpse of Disney’s newest series, which premieres in October.

The official trailer reveals a bit of the magic and gives audiences a peek into the world the Russo family has spent the last 12 years in.

When Alex Russo brings Billie to her brother Justin’s house for help, “she must dust off her magical skills to mentor a wizard-in-training while juggling her day-to-day responsibilities — and securing the future of the Wizarding World.”

The series stars David Henrie (as Justin Russo), Janice LeAnn Brown (as Billie), Alkaio Thiele (as Roman Russo), Max Matenko (as Milo Russo), Taylor Cora (as Winter), and Mimi Gianopulos (as Giada Russo). Selena Gomez (as Alex Russo) will guest star in the first episode.

“Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” premieres with two episodes on Tuesday, October 29 at 8:00 PM ET on Disney Channel. The first nine episodes will be available on Disney+ and Disney Channel On Demand the following day, Wednesday, October 30.
