Upcoming NDOT Closures on Northbound I-5

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Nevada Department of Transportation says closures will begin Friday on part of the northbound lanes of I-5 and some ramps.

NDOT officials said those closures are planned through Monday due to paving work.

• I-15 Northbound CLOSED from I-215 to Hacienda Ave
• Exit from I-215 eastbound and westbound to I-15 northbound CLOSED
• Entrance from Las Vegas Boulevard onto I-15/CD Road North CLOSED
• Blue Diamond Road Overpass Exit to I-15 North CLOSED

NDOT announced that two detour lanes will be opened:

• Traffic northbound from I-15 rerouted onto CD Road — just south of I-215
• Traffic returns to northbound I-15 in front of Tropicana Avenue

Drivers can use the I-15 Trop mobile app or website to stay up to date on traffic restrictions and detours.

NDOT emphasizes the importance of exercising caution when driving through a work zone.
