Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck May Try Again Later, Insider Says: ‘Small Chance’

There is a chance, although very small tiny first, that Bennifer 3.0 could happen someday. An insider claims that despite their split, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez may — for a third time — try again. After all, they have a “chemistry” that won’t fade, despite currently being divorced.

This may not be what you are looking for Missing Girl star and “Jenny from the Block” singer. Although they are in the midst of divorce proceedings, Affleck, 52, and Lopez, 55, could start another era of Bennifer in the future, a source told Us Weekly, noting that there is a “small chance” of that happening.

“J.Lo slept over at Ben’s a couple of times,” they said. “When things are good, they’re really good. But when things are bad, they’re really bad — and things are so good when they’re friends. If things are better because they’re separated, that’s a reason for a divorce.”

Lunch reminded Lopez and Affleck ‘how good they are together’

Amid the divorce, Affleck and Lopez were spotted on September 14, 2024, with some of their children. (They both have children from previous marriages to Jennifer Garner and Marc Anthony, respectively.) The couple was photographed entering the Beverly Hills Hotel, where they had lunch at the Polo Lounge.

The outing, during which the two reportedly sat at a separate table from their children, as well as other occasions when they came together as a family, reminds them of good times in their marriage.

“There’s still a lot of love between them, but the divorce is still ongoing,” the source said. “When they’re together as a family and see the kids together, it reminds them how good they are as a team and what’s important.”

“They both know they’ll be in each other’s lives for the kids and remain on friendly terms. But the divorce is still ongoing,” the second source added.

The lunch also involved public displays of affection, or PDA. “Once they were together, (Affleck) couldn’t keep his hands off each other,” a source told Page Six. “They always had a lot of sexual chemistry. It wasn’t planned. They still feel attracted to each other.”

The couple’s appearance comes just weeks after Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20, 2024, two years after their Georgia wedding.

Affleck and Lopez’s marriage ‘problems’ haven’t gone away

Despite the reminder of how good they are together, J. Lo and Affleck still have their issues. A source claimed their polarizing daily life caused “a lot” of conflict in their marriage and continues to do so.

“A lot of their problems stemmed from lifestyle differences,” they said. “They just have completely different schedules — and nothing has changed (since the breakup).”

Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance in 2021, 17 years after they split during the original Bennifer era, before getting engaged and married in 2022.
