Meru woman claims her mother stole her husband after marital problems: ‘Walikuwa Wanakunywa Pamoja’

Lenah Itheru Murungi went through a difficult time with her husband, who she said never treated her well.

They had four children together and despite her loyalty and faithfulness to her husband, she never experienced the same love.

What mistreatment did Murungi experience?

Speaking to TUKO.co.keThe 62-year-old recalled the mistreatment she experienced in her marriage, adding that some of these situations were embarrassing for her.

“My husband would hit me and even disrespect me more than I could have imagined. Trying to talk to him and get some peace was futile because no one could question him at his home. He would come late at night, drunk, and cause chaos.

“Even family members have stopped helping us because, despite dialogue, we keep coming back to the same issues,” he says.

Did Murunga’s mother support her?

A woman from Meru told how she returned home to her mother who almost lost her life.

Murunga’s mother, however, sided with her husband, claiming that her daughter was doing wrong.

Murungi eventually discovered that her mother and her husband were allegedly having an affair.

“Even when I was insulted, she didn’t support me. I thought she would be my rock, but even in her house I felt broken. They would go out for drinks together and when they came home, they would hold hands. They would even cook outside so I wouldn’t eat with them,” she said painfully.

In another story, Anne Ndungu was having difficulties in her marriage because every time she went near her husband, she bled continuously.

Before the woman got married, she had already been sexually abused several times and had lost a child. She thought she would finally be happy.

She didn’t know that he would ask her to sleep with other men to have children and that he would become her mother’s lover, so she confessed it to him. TUKO.co.ke that the taboo caused her to bleed heavily.
