Celebrate the Season of Fear with Dead Space and More Free PlayStation Plus Games

PlayStation Plus is Sony’s version of Xbox Game Pass, which offers subscribers a large and growing library of games. There are three plans starting at $10 per month, but each plan gives subscribers access to monthly games and rewards. Starting October 1, subscribers can play the horror remake Dead Space and other games.

Here are all the games PlayStation Plus subscribers can access in October. You can also check out what games PlayStation has added to its games library in September.

Dead space

Return to the USG Ishimura and battle the grotesque creatures within in this remake of the classic survival horror. Take on the role of engineer Isaac Clarke, who responds to the ship’s distress signal. Your partner Nicole is on the ship, and when you discover that the ship’s crew has been slaughtered, you set out to find her and discover what happened. You can play this game with the lights on – I won’t lie.

WWE 2K24

Celebrate almost 40 years of WrestleMania with iconic wrestlers like Andre the Giant and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin in this wrestling game. Relive some of the most memorable WrestleMania moments, like when Bret “The Hitman” Hart won the WWF Intercontinental Championship by defeating “Rowdy” Roddy Piper at WrestleMania 8.

Doki Doki Plus Literary Club

Write a poem, impress your crush and experience this beloved… psychological horror story? Yes, you read that right. This game is a visual novel, so you’re mostly reading text as you play, but you’re making decisions that will affect the outcome. And without giving anything away, there’s a reason this game comes with a warning that it’s not suitable for children or the easily angered, so play at your own risk.

Monthly games will soon be gone

While all PS Plus subscribers can play these games throughout October, you have until September 30 to play the games below before they are no longer available on the service, at which point you’ll have to purchase them separately.
