Lana Del Rey obtains a marriage license to marry Jeremy Dufrene

Once the application is approved, the couple has 30 days to get married before the license expires.

The “Summertime Sadness” singer and Dufrene have not publicly revealed their wedding plans. Although they were first linked late last month, Del Rey uploaded photos of herself and Dufrene to Facebook from 2019, when she first went on one of his wildlife trips.

In May, Del Rey called Dufrene “my guy” in an Instagram photo with her siblings. In August, the pair were spotted holding hands at the Leeds Festival.

Del Rey and Dufrene made their public debut earlier this month, when Del Rey was accompanied by an alligator guide Karen Elsonwedding at Electric Lady Studios in New York. (Elson, 45, married Lee Fosterwho owns a recording studio.)

Del Rey has been linked before Barrie-James O’Neill, Francesco Carrozzini, G-Eazy, Sean Larkin AND Clayton Johnson. While talking to Rolling Stone in 2014, she revealed that she thrives in intense relationships.

“It was beautiful but confusing because when you have that kind of power, things don’t end in the traditional way,” Del Rey told the outlet in July 2014. “You don’t have that traditional relationship where maybe you go out in the evening or you do normal things. It’s more of an extension of the creative process.”

She added: “Major events, great adventures or serious consequences take place. So it’s inspiring and it’s not grounding, but it’s what I need to keep working.”

In the profile, Del Rey confirmed that she is “truly looking for an equal” and is not afraid of an age-gap romance.

“I have a weakness for really good, strong and confident people,” she said. “I would say I haven’t seen them that often in people in their 20s. So for me, I have nothing in common with anyone who is in their 20s – yet. That’s all I know for now.
