Netflix announces adult animation premieres in October 2024

Netflix is having a busy month for adult animation releases, especially in the anime department, where we have three series based on Japanese manga and one based on one of the biggest game franchises of all time. We’ve reached out to Netflix to confirm whether and when the English-dubbed episodes will be streamed simultaneously Blue box AND Ranma 1/2 launch and we will update this article as soon as we receive a response.

The series focuses on Taiki Inomata, a student at Eimei Middle and High School who is a member of the men’s badminton team. Every morning, he trains with his upperclassman girlfriend and teammate Chinatsu Kano, who is on the women’s basketball team. However, Chinatsu moves in with Taika’s family when her parents leave Japan to work abroad. Since Chinatsu is currently living with him, Taiki intends to slowly develop his relationship with her as they both try to reach the national championship with their teams.

An action comedy series about a teenager named Ranma Saotome who has been training martial arts since early childhood. Due to an accident during a training trip, he is cursed to turn into a girl when exposed to cold water, and hot water turns him back into a boy. Throughout the series, Ranma searches for a way to get rid of the curse while his friends, enemies, and multiple fiancées constantly interrupt and disturb him.

Animated series TOMB RAIDER: THE LEGEND OF LARA CROFT The action begins after the events of the hugely popular Survivor trilogy in the Tomb Raider video game (Tomb Raider; Rise of the Tomb Raider; Shadow of the Tomb Raider) and presents the next chapter of the globe-trotting heroine as an iconic adventurer. More than 25 years after her first appearance, Lara Croft (voiced by Hayley Atwell) continues to explore ancient mysteries and discover lost truths in breathtaking and dangerous places.

Focusing on the European front of the One Year War, where the first Gundam series “Mobile Suit Gundam” (1979) took place, the new animated series “Mobile Suit Gundam: Requem for Vengeance” is a joint production of SAFEHOUSE, Inc. , which was created using Unreal Engine 5 and is aimed at a global audience. The series will be streamed exclusively on Netflix.
