Reboot of the Horror Classic Teaser (Exclusive)

Reboot of the Horror Classic Teaser (Exclusive)

We have a special surprise for you today. We are pleased to share a first look at the new trailer for Dustin Ferguson’s upcoming remake of the Vincent Price classic House on Haunted Hill. What makes this new approach unique is that Price’s daughter, Victoria, is closely involved in the production. Victoria stars in the main role and is also the executive producer of the project.

Interestingly, Victoria Price isn’t the only legacy with references to the 1959 original. Wyatt Mitchum, Julie Mitchum’s great-nephew, also stars. In the original, Julie Mitchum was played by Ruth Bridges. Wyatt Mitchum stars as Watson Pritchard in the upcoming update.

The reboot differs from the previous two incarnations by adopting a found footage-style approach, where the proceedings are presented as a lost cable broadcast. Both Guardian of spirits AND WNUF Halloween Special took this approach. They managed to scare and entertain audiences, and Ferguson and company hope to accomplish a similar feat in the upcoming version.

This new look will make its proper red carpet premiere next month. The film will be shown at The Frida Cinema in Santa Ana, California on Halloween! It’s perfect timing and it sounds good.

The reboot features some big names apart from those already mentioned. Character actor Daniel Roebuck (Terrifying 3, Munsters) will be recognized by horror fans as Agent Wine with Final destination. He plays Vinny Price here. Pajama party massacre actress Brinke Stevens also stars. She will play the role of Nora Manning. Screenwriter C. Courtney Joyner (Class of 1999) will play William White.

The configuration looks like this: On October 31, 1978, the Channel 6 WXIP-TV team conducted a live television investigation of the infamous “Hill House” with disastrous results. The broadcast was banned and was never seen again. Until now.

You may have noticed that some of the names sound familiar. Vinny Price is pretty obvious. But Nora Manning is another example of a nod to the source material. Carolyn Craig plays the character of the same name in the 1959 original!
