Lady Gaga releases her new album “Harlequin”

Sept. 27 (UPI) — Lady Gaga released a new album on Friday to coincide with her upcoming one Joker continued.

Music icon described Harlequin as a “companion album “Joker: Folie à Deux” on Tuesday in a social media post. Gaga stars alongside Joaquin Phoenix in the film, which premieres on October 4.

Listeners will recognize many of the songs Harlequinwhile Lady Gaga sings classics like “Good Morning,” “That’s Life” and “If My Friends Could See Me Now.”

Within the first few hours, the post announcing the release garnered over 800 comments and thousands of likes and reshares.

“Album of the year,” one fan wrote. “Your vocals are crazy.”

Fans were also delighted with the new songs on YouTube.

Listeners who played “Good Morning” said it had a “classic Disney feel.”

One commenter suggested that the late singer Tony Bennett, who collaborated with Lady Gaga on two albums, “would be very proud.”

According to Variety, Gaga will release her seventh studio album in February, and the project’s first single will be released in October.

On Wednesday, the pop singer published a music video in which she introduces herself as the Joker while walking through the Louvre in Paris.
