When is the Destiny 2 Vespers Host dungeon release date?

Destiny 2 Vesper’s Host dungeon will be released on October 11, 2024three days after Episode Revenant premiered.

Please note that Competitive Mode will be active for the first 48 hours, during which you can expect to encounter more aggressive enemies and complex mechanics throughout the dungeon.

Vesper’s Host Normal Mode will become available as soon as the first three fireteams complete the dungeon.

As of this writing, Bungie hasn’t revealed what the Vesper’s Host dungeon will feature, but since Revenant will feature Fallen enemies, it could be a Fallen or Eliksni-themed dungeon.

Luckily, you won’t have to wait long to get more information on Vesper’s Host, as Bungie will be hosting a live stream of the Revenant episode on October 1.

What can you expect from the Destiny 2 Vespers Host dungeon?

While the theme of the dungeon is unknown at the time of writing, it is at least expected to be one of the most difficult Destiny dungeons of all time.

Bungie has consistently talked about increasing the challenge in Destiny 2, and dungeons have always been some of the most difficult end-game activities in the game, requiring proper construction and coordination between fireteam members.

However, since Vesper’s Host is the first dungeon to feature a competitive mode, it seems that Bungie went a step further and made this new dungeon more challenging than any other dungeon in the game.

That said, if you manage to purify the Vespers Host within the first 48 hours, you’ll receive a special emblem and an exotic dungeon weapon (guaranteed loot), among other things.
