Priyamani talks about ‘Jawan 2’: the much-awaited sequel

Actress Priyamani, best known for her breathtaking roles in ‘The Family Man’ and ‘Maidaan’, has spoken about the sequel of ‘Javan’.

During a press conference at IIFA Utsavam 2024, when a media representative asked about Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Javan’, Priyamani replied, “I don’t know sir, I think the best person to answer this question would be Atlee Sir.”

The ‘Golimaar’ actress also talked about her current shooting schedule and upcoming projects, she said, ‘I am shooting for ‘Family Man 3’, I am shooting for another web series, there are also some films in South India which I can’t announce right now, but I will announce it soon “

While talking to the media, when another person asked if she was trolled after ‘Family Man 2’, Priyamani replied, “I didn’t take it seriously because if there are so many trolls and so much negative news, it means I must have done something right, I must have do something well. I just take it that way. We cannot accept a negative as a negative…we must see a negative as a positive.

During an event, when someone asked Priyamani if ​​she was good enough to gain lasting recognition in an industry as cutthroat as cinema, she replied, “For me, being good enough is enough for me because I am the best at what I do. ..the love and appreciation I receive from people all over the world, I think that says a lot.”

Later, the ‘Article 370’ actress also talked about Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback after hosting IIFA for 24 years.

She said: “I can’t wait. I’m waiting for his host… everyone knows he’s the best at everything he does. I’m waiting just like you.”

She also expressed her excitement about the first anniversary of ‘Javan’.

Priyamani said, “It’s a great feeling… it’s just a wonderful feeling to be a part of such a great film. They are wonderful people. I felt truly honored and happy to have worked with Shah in such a wonderful film Rukh Again.”

“I played a full-fledged role in this song from the previous film, but I was very, very happy. I have to thank Atlee, Atlee sir and Red Chillies and everyone for inviting me to be a part of the project,” she concluded.

Moreover, Priyamani also talked about her first day on the sets of ‘Jawan’.

The ‘Neru’ actress said, “The very first day we had the combo. I remember we were shooting a sequence, first we shot a sequence in the subway, so the production team called us and said, you know sir, would you like to meet all of us?”

“So when all six of us walked onto the set, I was the first person to meet him. “I remember I was the first person to give me the biggest and warmest hug and then he kissed me there (head) and said thank you so much for being a part of it and I haven’t taken a bath since then, just kidding,” she concluded.
