‘Remarriage without wife’s consent is wrong’: Bigg Boss Marathi 5 contestant Arbaz Patel

He was evicted from Bigg Boss Marathi in the eighth week.

In the interview, Arbaz was asked about his views on marriage and what has changed.

Arbaz Patel, one of the most popular contestants of Bigg Boss Marathi season 5, was finally evicted from the house in the eighth week. His eviction came as a shock to many as he was considered a strong contender to win. In a recent interview with the media, he talked about marriage and whether he would marry someone outside his religion.

Since coming out, the model and influencer has given several interviews, detailing his experiences at home and his personal life. In an interview with Filmymantra, Arbaz was asked about his views on marriage and what has changed. He said, “I don’t think anyone can sustain two marriages these days.” Delving deeper into this belief, he added: “It is said that in our religion there are four marriages, but most importantly, this must not be allowed to happen.”

Arbaz further stated that previously, when a man died, others made decisions regarding the well-being of his widow, which is unacceptable now. He added: “It is completely inappropriate to remarry without your wife’s consent.”

He was then asked a question: “If you want to marry a Hindu girl, will you marry in both Hindu and Muslim cultures?” He replied, “No, I can’t do that.” Arbaz continued that a non-Muslim woman must convert to Islam to marry him. However, “there is no problem with entering into a court marriage,” he added.

Arbaz Patel rose to fame with his viral videos on TikTok before the app was banned in 2020. In addition to modeling, she also runs a YouTube channel where she regularly shares vlogs and other videos. He also appeared in several music videos, which increased his fame. These include Tujh Main Sukoon, Nache Nagin, Khafa and Tumhe Kitna Chaha.

In 2024, he participated in the matchmaking reality show MTV Splitsvilla X5. He then became a contestant in the fifth season of Bigg Boss Marathi, which is regularly aired on Colors Marathi.
