Mumbai Local Trains Update: Western Railway announces major blockade between Goregaon to Kandivali, train services affected – Railways News

The Western Railway has announced significant progress in the construction of Line 6 between Goregaon and Kandivali stations, which will require a significant block on the UP and DOWN fast lines and on Line 5. This block will take place on the intervening night of Saturday to Sunday, September 28/29, 2024.

As per the press release issued by Shri Vineet Abhishek, Director, Public Relations, Western Railways, the block timings are as follows:

• UP Fast line: from 00:00 to 10:00
• DOWN Fast line: from 00:45 to 05:00
• 5th line: from 00:00 to 05:00

Affected trains

1. Train No. 94078 Virar – Andheri Fast AC local (September 28) departing at 22:44 from Virar will have a short stop at Borivali.
2. Train No. 94079 Andheri – Bhayandar Fast AC local (September 28) departing at 11.55 pm from Andheri will depart from Borivali soon.
3. Train No. 90853 Dadar – Borivali local (September 28) departing at 8.23 ​​pm will only run to Bhayandar.
4. Train No. 90979 Churchgate – Borivali local (September 28) departing at 10.24 pm will run to Bhayandar.
5. Train No. 90795 Churchgate – Borivali local (September 28) departing at 7.11 pm will also run to Bhayandar only.
6. Train No. 91016 Virar-Andheri local flight (September 28), departing at 11:40 p.m., with a short stop at Bhayandar.
7. Train No. 91041 Churchgate – Borivali local (September 29), departing at 00:16, with a short stop at Goregaon.
8. Train No. 91049 Churchgate – Borivali local (September 29), departing at 00:38, will also have a short stop at Goregaon.
9. Train No. 90190 The Virar – Bandra local bus (September 29) departing at 07:25 will reach Churchgate.
