Ajith Kumar is all set for an ‘adrenaline journey’ as he announces a new racing team

Embarking on a new professional venture, Tamil actor Ajith Kumar has officially announced the formation of a racing team. It was named Ajith Kumar Racing. Suresh Chandra, Ajith’s manager, shared the exciting news on Friday with an intriguing Instagram post featuring photos of the actor clicked while testing the Ferrari 488 EVO Challenge at Dubai Autodrome.

Revealing details about Ajith Kumar’s racing team in a detailed note on Instagram, he stated, “The new racing team will be involved in various international racing series, starting with the competitive European 24hseries in the cup category of the Porsche 992 GT3 (sic).” The team’s official racing driver will be Fabian Duffieux.

“One of our biggest goals will be to help talented young drivers while providing them with a fully supported racing program. I can’t wait to tell you more about this soon! (sic),” the manager added in his post.

In another post shared on X, Suresh Chandra posted photos of Ajith Kumar at Dubai Autodrome and wrote, “Testing the Ferrari 488 EVO Challenge at Dubai_Autodrome as AK prepares for the upcoming European racing season! Also excited about the reveal of the new helmet paint scheme. Ready for an adrenaline-filled journey! (sic!).

Apart from his acting projects, Ajith Kumar is known for his passion for car and bicycle racing. In 2010, he took part in the MRF Racing series and competed at numerous tracks in India as well as internationally, including Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Germany and Malaysia. Additionally, he also competed in the Formula 2 championship with Armaan Ebrahim and Parthiva Sureshwaren.

Often sharing clips of himself riding his sleek rides, Ajith Kumar caught the attention of his fans some time ago when a video surfaced on the internet. The video of the actor driving an Audi at a speed of 234 km/h went viral immediately after being shared. In the recording, the actor can be heard asking the person who captured the video, “Do you see that?”

On the film career front, Ajith Kumar has two projects in the pipeline including Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly and Magizh Thirumeni’s Vidaa Muyarchi, which is scheduled to release on Diwali.
