How to watch the 50th season premiere of ‘Saturday Night Live’ without cable

If laughter isn’t on your weekend viewing list, you can add an all-new season of Saturday Night Live to your lineup.

The Nightly Sketchbook is celebrating a milestone of its 50th season. The first episode, featuring rapper and singer Jelly Roll, will be hosted by Hacks Emmy winner Jean Smart. Upcoming host-musician duos include Nate Bargatze and Coldplay (October 5), Ariana Grande and Stevie Nicks (October 12), Michael Keaton and Billie Eilish (October 19), and John Mulaney and Chappell Roan (November 2).

If you want to be present for the opening monologue, new sketches (maybe we’ll see one with Moo Deng?), and the weekend update, you can stream the show on Peacock or NBC’s live telecast service. Here are more details on how to watch the anniversary season of the cult series without cable.

Jean Smart hosts shortly after winning her third Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Actress for Hacks.
