King Charles announces major changes ahead of Australian tour

According to reports, King Charles has decided to make a major change in his wardrobe choice ahead of his much-anticipated overseas tour.

For the uninitiated, the monarch and Queen Camilla will begin their important trip to Australia and Samoa in October.

Earlier, Buckingham Palace issued a statement saying: “The King and Queen will visit Australia and Samoa and attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) from 18 to 26 October 2024.”

Now, Express reported that Samoan Prime Minister Fiamē Naomi Mataʻafa asked all distinguished guests attending the meeting to wear comfortable clothes due to the “hot October weather on the island.”

She said: “I was very honest in my conversations in London. I met the king. October in Samoa is very hot.”

“We don’t really care about people wearing suits, they feel hot and uncomfortable. We want to create a more island atmosphere,” added the Prime Minister.

It is worth noting that this will be King Charles’ first trip abroad since he was diagnosed with cancer in February 2024.
