Dave Grohl left Foo Fighters fans in shambles in September 2024 after announcing that he had fathered a child with another woman while married to Jordyn Blum.

“I recently became the father of a daughter who was born outside my marriage,” the former Nirvana drummer, who has three daughters with Blum, announced in a lengthy statement on Instagram.

As music fans had to come to terms with the shocking revelation – Grohl has long been considered one of the nicest rockers in the industry – the “There Goes My Hero” artist is not the only star to have a child outside of his relationship.

Here are the stars who welcomed children with other people while still in a relationship with their partner.

“I recently became the father of a daughter who was born outside my marriage,” Grohl, who has an alleged history of infidelity in his previous relationships, wrote on Instagram in September 2024.

“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children and I am doing everything in my power to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he added. “We appreciate your concern for all the children involved as we move forward together.”

The identity of the second woman has not yet been released. Grohl and Blum – who were photographed together at Wimbledon just two months before the news broke – have been married since 2003.

Tristan Thompson

Khloé Kardashian’s ex may be the father of her two children – daughter True and son Tatum – but he has a long history of cheating on the reality star.

The NBA star’s most famous adulterous affair occurred on his 30th birthday in March 2021, when he slept with Maralee Nichols while still in a relationship with Kardashian. The tryst ended with Nichols getting pregnant with son Theo, who was born in December 2021. Even more devastating for Kardashian, she and Thompson had already transferred the embryo to a surrogate mother when the athlete and Nichols conceived their child. (Kardashian and Thompson’s son, Tatum, was born in July 2022, seven months after Nichols welcomed Theo.)

“Khloé, you don’t deserve this,” Thompson, who is also the father of Prince’s son with ex Jordan Craig, wrote in a lengthy January 2022 post — after paternity results showed he was Theo’s father.

“You don’t deserve the pain and humiliation I caused you. You don’t deserve the way I treated you over the years,” he added. “My actions are certainly not consistent with how I view you.”

Thompson and Kardashian split after the incident and True and Tatum are together.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

One of the most famous celebrity romances is Schwarzenegger’s relationship with his and then-wife Maria Shriver’s housekeeper, Mildred Baena. Their romance resulted in the birth of Joseph Baena, Mildred and Schwarzenegger’s son in 1997. Terminator The star initially did not know that Joseph was his son, but when Joseph was growing up, the resemblance to his father was uncanny.

Still, Schwarzenegger – who has four children with Shriver – kept his paternity a secret until Shriver confronted him during a therapy session.

“Everyone had to suffer. Mary had to suffer. The children had to suffer. Joseph. His mother. Everyone,” Schwarzenegger recalls in his Netflix docuseries: Arnold. “I’ll have to live with this for the rest of my life. … I have failed in the past in my career, but this is a completely different game: the dimension of failure.”

Despite the drama, he is close to Józef and often boasts about his achievements on social media.

Chuck Norris

In his 2004 memoirs Against all oddsNorris admitted that he had cheated on his wife Dianne Norris in 1962 – fathering a daughter, Dina, with a woman named Johanna.

“To my shame, I never told Johanna that I was married,” the Walker, Texas star recalled, noting that Johanna advised her daughter not to contact the star.

“Johanna later confirmed to Dina that I was her biological father, but I was married and had children, and she should not interfere with my life,” he wrote in the book.

But Dina knew she had to meet her dad.

“I didn’t need DNA or blood tests. I went to her, put my arms around her and we both started crying,” Chuck wrote. “In that moment, I felt like I had known her my whole life.”

She was Steven Tyler’s Bebe Buell

Liv Tyler grew up thinking that her father was Todd Rundgren, her mother’s ex-boyfriend – because Rundgren signed her 1977 birth certificate.

“It’s a big thing for a man to say, ‘I know this baby may not be mine, but I still want to be her father,'” Liv later recalled Guardian about Rundgren’s decision to raise her as his own.

Buell, who had an affair with Tyler in the mid-1970s, didn’t want Liv to find out that her father was an Aerosmith rocker because he struggled with drug addiction.

Despite this, Liv realized that as a teenager she had noticed a resemblance between herself and one of Steven’s other daughters, Mia Tyler.

Liv later remembered that she was 10 years old Interview magazineshe felt an instant attachment to Steven when she first met him two years earlier.

“My mom has a diary entry or something where I wrote, ‘I think Steven is my father,'” she shared, noting that she still feels the same way about her other father: Rundgren.

“I had the same feelings about Todd,” she added.
