The UK’s 100 most effective marketers for 2024 have been revealed

One hundred marketers from 10 category groups have been recognized with a spot on the Marketing Week 2024 Top 100 Marketers list, sponsored by Digitas.

Marketing Week is proud to present the 100 Most Effective Marketers of 2024, sponsored by Digitas, an extensive list showcasing the best of the best working in the UK marketing industry today.

The final 100 marketers, representing multiple categories, both B2C and B2B, were selected based on their contributions to business success, their influence and impact both within the company and the broader industry, and their innovative thinking and leadership during what was another year full of challenges.

Thank you to our outstanding list of judges who helped select the final 10 in each category group.

“Congratulations to our top 100. Your selection follows a rigorous process that many of your peers simply missed out on. You should wear your accolade as the badge of honor it is meant to be, says Russell Parsons, editor-in-chief of Marketing Week. “You should also congratulate yourself on demonstrating your best marketing skills. In difficult circumstances, when expectations of what is possible are rising but the means to achieve are often diminishing, you have succeeded.”

Jen Berry, UK CEO of Digitas, adds: “This list is about more than just results; it’s about recognizing those who pave the way with fresh ideas and innovative thinking. We look forward to celebrating the extraordinary achievements and groundbreaking work that are defining the future of marketing.”

On Thursday, during Marketing Week’s Marketing Festival, we’ll be hosting a session with three of the top 100 – NatWest’s chief marketing officer, Margaret Jobling, Rebecca Hirst, EY’s director of marketing and communications, and Charlotte Lock, chief client officer at John Lewis. They will be joined by Digitas’ Berry on a panel hosted by Marketing Week’s Parsons to share her thoughts on how marketing can transform organizations.

In November, during Marketing Week, the list of 10 “future marketing leaders” will also be announced, again in cooperation with Digitas. The 10 rising stars will be selected from a long list of nominations among the top 100 and other marketing leaders based on their business impact, influence and potential leadership skills.
