Play Dead Space and other free games this spooky season with PlayStation Plus

PlayStation Plus is Sony’s version of Xbox Game Pass, which offers subscribers a large and constantly growing library of games. There are three plans starting at $10 per month, but each plan gives subscribers access to monthly games and rewards. Subscribers can now play the remake of the horror game Dead Space and other games, which will be available until November 4.

Here are all the games PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to access throughout October. You can also check out what games PlayStation added to its game library in September.

Dead space

Return to the Ishimura USG and fight the grotesque creatures within in this remake of this survival horror classic. You play the role of an engineer named Isaac Clarke, who responds to a distress signal from a ship. Your partner Nicole is on the ship, and when you see that the ship’s crew have been murdered, you decide to find her and discover what happened. You can play this game with the lights on – I won’t tell you.

WWE 2K24

Celebrate almost 40 years of WrestleMania with iconic wrestlers like Andre the Giant and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin in this wrestling game. Relive some of WrestleMania’s most memorable moments, like the moment Bret “The Hitman” Hart won the WWF Intercontinental Championship after defeating “Rowdy” Roddy Piper at WrestleMania 8.

Doki Doki Plus Literary Club

Write poems, impress your crush and experience this beloved… psychological one horror story? Yes, you read that right. This game is a visual novel, so you’re mostly reading text throughout the game, but you’re making choices that will affect the outcome. And without giving anything away, there’s a reason this game comes with a warning that it’s not suitable for children or people who are easily disturbed, so play at your own risk.

Monthly games that have left PS Plus

While all PS Plus subscribers can play these games throughout October, three other games are no longer available on the service. This means you will now have to purchase these games separately.
