Mrs. Prada anoints Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban as Miu Miu’s fashion girl

As Paris Fashion Weeks progressed, the spring 2025 collections were relatively sparse and lacked the popularity of viral moments. Bella Hadid may have walked Saint Laurent, but the Beckhams went undercover. Harry Styles amped up his romance with Alessandro Michele, but Kylie Jenner has hit back NO to Balmain, even though Olivier Rousteing designed an LBD embellished with her very bone structure. A slight round of applause, then, is due to Ms. Prada, whose X-baiting SS25 casting for Miu Miu included Alexa Chung, Little Simz, Hilary Swank and Willem Dafoe. If the latter have the feeling that “one of these things isn’t like the rest,” recall that the Oscar winner was among the actor-turned-models at Prada’s fall 2012 menswear show, also known as The Villains Runway thanks to its lineage: it consists of Hollywood bad guys.

Next generation babe Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban, the 16-year-old daughter of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, makes her runway debut. Kristin Scott Thomas walked on the fall 2024 runway and CrownLuther Ford on the Palais d’Iéna runway, not to mention a visit from Dr. Qin Huilan, a retired doctor of seventy years with a passion for Prada coats. A season earlier, Rosemary Ferguson retired at Ms. Prada’s request (“It’s a big stage to step on,” she said Fashion. “I’ve been living a completely different life for a long time…”), and Miranda July appeared in the spring of 2024 before collaborating with the house on the short film Someone.
