WITH Joker: Folie à Deux finally hits theaters this Friday, and Joaquin Phoenix strips off during the press tour.

Last night, the Oscar winner visited Los Angeles for the red carpet premiere of his next big blockbuster. And while the classic suit and rather messy hair might have been the focus, there was something else that caught the attention of die-hard style observers: his sunglasses.

From Saint Laurent’s SL 375 to Tom Ford’s Jack, Phoenix has long been the saint of good sunglasses. But for Joker on the press trail, he pulled out a pair from California-based eyewear brand Garrett Leight. This particular model is the Ace Sun.

This silhouette features a Wayfarer pattern and is made of cellulose acetate, a durable material that refines cotton or wood pulp. Shiny metal palm fronds are attached to the corners and are equipped with a pair of pink lenses. Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Jeremy Allen White are proud owners of Garrett Leight frames. But none of them are as big a fan as Phoenix, who has represented them for five years in a row. At the 2019 Venice Film Festival Also stuck in Ace – this time in a black on black color scheme.

If you want to see the world the way Phoenix does, you’re in luck: his exact shades of Garrett Leight are still available for $385.
