Touch a fire truck and watch Pablo Cruise perform on “Celebrate Volusia” on October 6

Yacht rock band Pablo Cruise will perform on Sunday at the free “Celebrate Volusia” event at the Ocean Center, 101 N. Atlantic Ave. Daytona Beach.

The community exhibition will help people learn about the area and what it has to offer.

“From beautiful beaches to cultural landmarks, Volusia County offers an array of unique places and services that make our county unique. “‘Celebrate Volusia’ is an opportunity to explore these places, explore community resources and interact with the people who serve you.” according to a press release from the county.

The event will feature an art exhibit, a performance by a celebrity SiriusXM DJ, caricature and face painting artists, and storytelling time. Touch-A-Truck vehicles will include a fire truck, HazMat15 truck, jet ski, sheriff’s boat, beach truck and more.

Free popcorn and cookies will be served and discounts will be available at the Ocean Center. Parking will also be free.

The local exhibition will be open from 2 to 4 p.m. Pablo Cruise, known for songs such as “Love Will Find A Way” and “Whatcha Gonna Do?” will perform from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m
