Adobe debuts Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2025

Adobe today announced new versions of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements, its affordable photo and video editing software for users who want to enhance their photos and videos with simple editing tools.

Photoshop Elements 2025 includes many new AI-powered tools that make editing faster than ever. There is a new erase tool that allows users to select an area of ​​an image to erase using a brush, and comes with object removal assisted editing.

You can also change the color of objects in the image by selecting them using the auto selection tools and then choosing a new color.

The new Depth Blur filter adds blur to images, mimicking the effect of depth of field, with controls to adjust blur strength, focal distance and focal range. This is a useful way to change the sharpness of an image.

There is a guided edit for photo merging that guides users through the process of combining the subject from one image and the background from another to create a completely new image. Can use parts of multiple photos to create a unique look.

Other new features include options for texturing backgrounds and photo graphics, and the option to add effects such as camera movement, animated sparkles or an animated frame with a single click.

Premiere Elements 2025 includes several new video features. There is a new white balance tool to adjust the appearance of clouds, snow and similar white elements, as well as new color correction curves for more precise color and brightness adjustments.

There are additional dynamic title templates with more control over text alignment, size, color and spacing. There are preset LUTs for color customization, and a simplified timeline speeds up editing.

Both Photoshop and Premiere Elements have improvements for Mac computers with the new M3 chip, so the software will run faster on new M3 computers.
