The return of Bad Blood to WWE’s premium live event calendar is a huge win for wrestling fans. Some of the biggest names in the sport will be fighting, including one fight taking place in Hell in a Cell.

With the event headlined by two Women’s Championship matches, as well as numerous appearances from other performers such as CM Punk, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, it’s clear that WWE Creative wants to make a statement at Saturday’s event at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

Here are some bold match card predictions for the 2024 edition of the classic pay-per-view.

Bad Blood 2024 match card

Women’s World Championship: LivMorgan vs. Rhea Ripley

Damian Księdza vs. Finn Bálor

CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre

WWE Women’s Championship: NiaJax vs. Bayley

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu

*Predicted winners in italics.

Jimmy Uso saves Rhodes and Reigns

Rhodes and Reigns are unlikely bedfellows, which could result in tension between them during their tag team match against Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline’s Jacob Fatu.

Add to that Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa looming in the background, and Bad Blood would be the perfect setting for Jimmy Uso to make a triumphant return to WWE and take revenge on the men who defeated him.

Jimmy has not been seen on WWE television since The Bloodline betrayed him on the April 12 episode of SmackDown. He hasn’t wrestled a match since losing to his brother Jey Uso at WrestleMania 40.

When Rhodes and Reigns are attacked and all hope seems lost for them at Bad Blood, the former tag team champion should make his way through the crowd and attack Tonga and Loa first, then attack Fatu from behind and face Sikoa.

The advantage Jimmy provides at this point would be enough to help Reigns and Rhodes get the victory. This would also provide OTC with support as they continue to fight to regain the power of the Bloodline.

Drew McIntyre defeats CM Punk

While WWE will almost certainly field Reigns and Rhodes in the Bad Blood main event, the match that most deserves the honor is the Hell in a Cell match pitting Punk against his fierce rival, Drew McIntyre.

While the story was made up for The World’s Finest to get back at McIntyre for all the things he said, the Scot needs a win to maintain his credibility as a viable world title threat.

McIntyre is six years younger than Punk and is a big part of WWE’s future. Asking Punk to field the Scottish Warrior in one of the biggest matches of the 45-year-old’s career would be another way to cement his status as one of the best in the industry today.

As long as Punk keeps his finger on the pulse of McIntyre and not only comes out healthy but also looks good against a better all-around athlete, he can easily take a tough loss and it won’t hurt his credibility.
