INSIDE OUT 2 is breaking records on Disney+

INSIDE OUT 2 is breaking records on Disney+, just like in theaters.

The Pixar film is the highest-grossing animated film of all time and is now enjoying similar success after its September 25 premiere on the streamer.

“INSIDE OUT 2” achieved 30.5 million views worldwide on Disney+ based on five days of streaming, making it the #1 movie premiere on Disney+ of 2024 and the #1 theatrical film premiere on Disney+ since ENCANTO (2021) Walt Disney Animation Studios) and the No. 1 film premiere of all time in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and LATAM (Latin America),” announced a press release from Disney. “Since the first trailer for INSIDE OUT 2 made its record-breaking premiere, Disney and Pixar’s INSIDE OUT (2015) has been watched more than 121 million times worldwide on Disney+.”

The statement continued: “Introduced in theaters on June 14, INSIDE OUT 2 continued to set new records throughout the summer. In addition to its record opening numbers, the film also enjoyed a stellar second weekend and crossed the $1 billion mark in just 19 days – faster than any other animated film in history. It remains the highest-grossing film of 2024 and the only animated film to ever exceed $1 billion internationally.”

The film’s continued success proves once again that audiences appreciate wholesome, family-friendly entertainment.
