As AEW prepares to celebrate Dynamite’s fifth anniversary on Wednesday, the company’s long-awaited new media rights deal has been confirmed.

On Wednesday, AEW announced that it had reached an agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery on a multi-year rights deal that will allow continued programming on TBS and TNT, as well as the addition of a streaming component on Max beginning in 2025.

“We are honored to announce the extension of our incredible partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery,” AEW CEO Tony Khan said in an official announcement. “This expansion continues the tradition of iconic wrestling events broadcast on TBS and TNT, while establishing a new legacy for AEW through weekly live broadcasts on Max for years to come. We thank David Zaslav, Kathleen Finch and everyone at WBD for their tireless support of All Elite Wrestling since its inception, and the AEW fans, talent and staff who have helped make this happen.”

TBS will remain the home of Dynamite on Wednesdays, and Collision will continue to air on TNT on Saturdays. Both shows will stream live and on-demand on Max starting in January 2025.

At some point in 2025, Max will also offer AEW pay-per-view events at a discounted price on the Max platform, but an official first event date and pricing have not yet been announced.

WBD has been the official television home of AEW programming since the promotion debuted in 2019. Dynamite originally aired on TNT for two years from October 2019 to December 2021 before moving to TBS in January 2022. Collision debuted on TNT on 17 June 2023 .

Wednesday’s announcement comes hours before AEW hosts Dynamite’s fifth anniversary concert at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh.

The event will feature Bryan Danielson vs. Kazuchika Okada for the title, with Okada’s Continental Championship only on the line for the first 20 minutes; Will Ospreay will defend his international title against Ricochet; Britt Baker will face Serena Deeb; and Adam Page will face Juice Robinson.
