Alison Sweeney returns this week with her tenth Hannah Swensen film on Hallmark Mystery.

A Bit of Deception: The Hannah Swensen Mystery Alison returns as Hannah, the baker who solves murders.

The film premieres Friday, October 4 at 9/8c on Hallmark Mystery.

Alison started her Instagram account to promote the Hallmark movie and is excited to be working with her colleague Victor Webster.

The news left Hannah Swensen fans wondering if fan favorite Cameron Mathison would return as Hannah’s former flame, Mike.

Will Cameron Mathison return in A Little Bit of Deception: The Hannah Swensen Mystery?

Cameron played a key role in Hannah Swensen’s films eight times. The actor had great chemistry with Alison and they lit up the screen.

However, things changed when Cameron signed an exclusive deal with Great American Family in 2023. But the timing couldn’t be better because Alison wants Hannah Swensen’s movies to stay true to the books.

Hannah doesn’t end up with Mike in the book series, but that doesn’t mean fans miss Cameron and Mike any less.

Alison found a suitable replacement for Cameron and Mike, bringing in her friend and former Wedding Veil costar, Victor. One Bad Apple was Victor’s debut as Chad’s prosecutor, which shocked Hannah.

None of this means we won’t see Mike again at some point, but for now, Cameron fans will have to watch him on GAF.

What is Pinch of Deception: The Hannah Swensen Secret?

In Hannah Swensen’s latest film, Hannah and Chad work on a case whose main suspect is Lonnie (Daylin Willis).

According to the Hallmark Mystery website, the official synopsis reads: “Hannah and Chad flirt with their own paths to solve the same murder while working to exonerate a colleague involved in the crime. Meanwhile, Delores experiences her big break.

In typical Hannah fashion, she tries to find the real killer to clear Lonnie’s name, and Chad doesn’t seem to mind. Chad doesn’t know this, even the cops at Eden Lake know Hannah has a knack for this sort of thing, so she might as well give herself up.

There’s no doubt that Alison Sweeney has another Hannah Swensen hit under her belt, and we can’t wait to see the film.
