Gmail can now share details from multiple related emails

Google is rolling out an update to Gmail summary cards and is introducing a new section called “Coming Soon.” This update is intended to help users better manage their email by making it easier to find information in emails and apps.

Gmail is introducing a new “Coming Soon” section at the top of inboxes. This section will display purchase summary cards that include delivery information in two days. The Coming Soon section will only appear when it is relevant and will allow users to quickly see upcoming deliveries. This is just the beginning and Google intends to add more functionality to this section in the future.

Gmail already has summary cards that include important details at the top of emails, but now they’re redesigned and have a new look. The updated cards will cover four main categories: shopping, events, bills and travel. For shopping, for example, users can track packages, view order details, and easily find previous purchases. Event cards will allow users to see upcoming events, add them to their calendars, invite others and find directions. Payment cards will allow users to view and pay bills and set reminders for future payments. Finally, travel cards will help you manage reservations, check in on flights, and view travel details.

This new feature allows for a quick overview and easier access to all details of the event, delivery, billing, etc. The cards will also be updated in real time, so users will have the latest information about deliveries, deadlines and other important details. The rollout of all new features will be gradual, so don’t expect it to happen immediately. Updated shopping summary cards for individual emails will be available first on Android and iOS devices, followed by event, billing and travel summary cards and an “Events Coming Soon” section in the coming months. Eventually, all four card categories will be available in individual emails, in the “Event Coming Soon” section, and in the Gmail search engine.
