Another report states that Samantha received Rs. 50 crore which she again refused to accept. It was in 2021 when producer Neelima Guna in an interview with The News Minute revealed that Samantha was planning to have a baby just before announcing their separation. She revealed that the actress liked the plot of the film Shakuntalambut she wanted the team to finish before July/August 2021 as she planned to focus on her personal life as she wanted to become a mother.

Neelima further added that when Samantha assured that the work would be completed on her preferred date, she was happy and told the producer that she would take a long break after the film as she wanted to have children and plan a family. For the uninitiated, it was in October 2021 when Chaitanya and Samantha announced their split.
