Have you ever loved wine so much that you wanted to live in it? Now you kind of can.

A house built from two giant redwood wine barrels in Big Sur has gone on sale for the first time in 40 years, according to Realtor.com.

The two-story house was designed by local architect Mickey Muennig, known as “the man who built Big Sir.” It has been owned by the same family since it was built in 1980 and is currently on the market for $3.26 million.

The estate was built of two wine barrels connected together.

“Over 5 acres are surrounded by flower gardens and a native oak and redwood forest, providing privacy and seclusion while still being just minutes from all the restaurants, resorts and amenities of the Big Sur Valley,” the announcement reads.

According to the property’s website, the cliff house is located off Highway 1 above Pfeiffer Beach, and a hiking trail leads to a private beach below Pfeiffer Point.

Other amenities include a toilet, open kitchen and loft.

Additionally, there is a guest cottage on a nearby hill, also built from another giant redwood wine barrel, alongside flower and vegetable gardens.

The guesthouse has a bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor dining room overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
