Eva Marcille and Michael Sterling celebrated their son’s 5th birthday after their divorce

Model Eva Marcille and her ex-husband Michael Stirling recently celebrated their son Maverick’s fifth birthday. She shared photos from the party on her Instagram and also sent her son warm birthday wishes, including nice words for his dad.

“Early birthday wishes to my big boy. You are my child, but you are my world. I love you, Maverick Sterling. You are the embodiment of your father, Maverick, unconventional beyond expectation. Enjoy this fifth year of your life. We love you, Big Boy!!! “Officially tomorrow 5 p.m.,” read the caption under the photo.

The family celebrated by going out for a hibachi, and Maverick put on his chef’s hat and tested his cooking skills with the chef. His sibling Michael Jr. (6) and Marley Rae (10) (whom Sterling adopted during their relationship) were also in attendance at the birthday celebrations.

The proud father of the birthday student also showed love for the youngest on social media.

The 39-year-old actress finalized her divorce from her lawyer in August 2023, after less than five years of marriage. The former couple never revealed the reason for their divorce, but court documents stated that the marriage was “irretrievably broken” and there were “no prospects for reconciliation.” Both Marcille and Sterling also opted out of receiving alimony and alimony, a reference to their ending the case on civil terms. In an interview with Tamron, Hall talked about how the divorce affected her.

“I believe that divorce is mourning. It’s like death. It’s important to remember that you are not alone,” she said. The TV presenter also mentioned how the grief of her divorce led to significant weight loss, which many social media users commented on.
