Jennifer Hudson questions Common’s boyfriend for dropping a hint about marriage

Jennifer Hudson found out that her boyfriend Common wants to marry her.

After the rapper announced his intentions to the world, Hudson, 43, jokingly confronted Common, 52, during his Oct. 3 appearance on the show The Jennifer Hudson Show.

After receiving the bills, Hudson brazenly asked him about his statement. “I heard you were talking about marriage. What is it about? I just noticed it,” she said, clearly amused.

Common didn’t hold back, answering honestly.

“You told me a quote your mother said: ‘A man knows what he wants,’” he recalled. “I confessed my true feelings… If I’m going to get married, I’m going to marry Jennifer Kate Hudson. I was just being honest.”

In early July, Common opened up during an interview with: Breakfast Club about her relationship with Hudson, calling it “really healthy and beautiful.” He even mentioned that if he were to marry, it would be with her.

The couple first began dating rumors in August 2022 and later confirmed their relationship on Hudson’s show in January.
