Radio producer caught KIIS star Jackie ‘O’ Henderson ‘backstabbing’: ‘Was this a plan to derail the Queen?’

Jackie “O” Henderson has accused her radio producer Joshua Fox of “stabbing” her in the back by scheduling his autobiography to premiere on the same day as her memoir.

The Sydney radio queen, 49, shot to the top of Amazon’s pre-order bestseller list in less than 24 hours after announcing her book.

But a dark horse entered the race.

Kyle and Jackie O Show radio producer Joshua Fox revealed on Friday that his book will be released on the same day as his boss’s, October 29.

“You chose the exact same day that Jackie’s book came out to release your book. Was this a plan to derail the Queen? – said radio presenter Kyle Sandilands on air.

KIIS FM social media later linked to the audio clip with the caption: “One of our producers was caught stabbing Jackie in the back!”

“It was supposed to come out at the beginning of the year, but I had a bit of a mental breakdown and couldn’t finish it, and then my mom had to take care of me,” explained producer Josh.

His book is advertised as: “Raw, moving and brutally funny.”

“What interests you? is Josh Fox’s autobiographical account of his spiral into the world of Grindr, full of casual sex, hookups and dating apps, after the breakdown of his marriage.

“I have suffered from depression all my life. I have already looked through books on this subject, but they are all very scientific and organized,” he said. “Even at my worst, I still make it fun.”

– So this comes out the exact same day as mine? Jackie O said slowly, after Josh had read some short and very engaging passages.

But why did your publishers decide to do exactly the same day. Why?’

Josh said that October 29 is the day when “anyone who has a good book puts it on display at the Christmas market.”

“I know you went straight to number one on the charts, but I’m currently number 36 in pre-sales,” he teased her.

On August 15, Jackie teased fans with a book announcement on her Instagram, telling followers she was “afraid” of being judged based on its content

“So this is your best entry at your publishing house?” Jackie asked.

“It was a diss track, just so you know,” Kyle interjected.

Jackie noted that her memoir, The Whole Truth, costs $29 while Josh’s costs $35.

“Mine actually has an extra 55 pages,” Josh said.

“First time, unknown author, pre-order already is crazy,” Josh raved about the Amazon charts on his Instagram Stories. “Thank you to everyone who showed support.”

Shortly after Josh promoted his book on the breakfast radio show, it became the number one best seller in several memoir categories available for pre-order on Amazon and number 25 of all books sold in Australia.

“It was basically about the day my husband left me because I had no idea how to deal with it,” Josh said on air.

“I spent countless hours and months on that couch, thinking about all the ups and downs, and at times I thought about giving it up completely, mostly out of fear,” Jackie wrote of her soon-to-be-released memoir.

“I didn’t want to talk to people because you feel like a failure. I just started writing a diary.

“It turned into a diary of all the people I had sex with, and then it turned into a diary of my falling apart life.

Josh detailed how he became depressed and lonely after his marriage broke up.

The dating and dating app Grindr became a jumping-off point to his days as a “sock worker” and then a real-life prostitute.

“I would do it for free because I was dating anyone, because I felt so sad and lonely that I just wanted anything,” he explained.

“Oh, you’re where Jackie is now,” Kyle joked.

Josh read two excerpts from his book, which has not been published in any format, yet it was ranked 36th on Amazon’s pre-order bestseller list when it aired on Friday morning.

“Kyle and Tegan’s wedding day. It’s actually in my book too,” Josh said. “That’s a great advantage.”

Both producer Josh and Jackie O (pictured arriving at the wedding) have dedicated chapters in their books to this day presenting different points of view

Jackie O chimed in and said she also wrote a chapter about her celebrity radio co-host’s wedding.

– Are they nice? – he asked Kyle.

“It’s mine!” Jackie said.

Josh said Kyle’s wedding reminded him of his own wedding day to his ex-husband, minus the million-dollar budget, the Prime Minister’s presence and extensive media coverage.

“As a result, I tried unsuccessfully to initiate a threesome between myself and the two waiters,” Josh read.

The waiters decided to exclude the producer and relegate the ménage a trois to a two-person meeting.

Continuing to read the chapter, Josh said, “When I realized we weren’t going to be sneaking out to the listed mansion together, I snuck out to meet the stranger against the minivan behind the property. ‘

A man he met on Grindr asked if he could join the wedding festivities, and Josh said no.

“When I was drunk, a side-street session seemed like… a perfectly acceptable way to end the evening,” he read.

“Now I refresh the Daily Mail soberly, terrified that one of the paparazzi wandering around the place has managed to take a picture of me and that my whole day will be overshadowed by a gay sex scandal.”

Kyle’s reaction couldn’t have been more enthusiastic.

“I’LL LIKE IT!” – he exclaimed.

Josh, who has 31,000 followers on Instagram and runs the famous account @mafsfunny, read a chapter on his first weeks on the breakfast radio juggernaut.

He said this role had been his dream job from his first days in Australia.

“The show is so huge that even the behind-the-scenes crew have become heroes of the show and recognizable personalities also because of their big personalities,” he continued.

“That’s a fact that also fills me with fear because I can’t feel lesser as a person right now.”

Josh admitted that it stems from childhood trauma related to his father’s verbal abuse, and Kyle also joked that he had to seek out the radio show because of its “familiar environment.”

“It’s great to write a book because it can be very healing,” Jackie told Josh.

Although she was horrified and shocked to find out that since the publication of her memoirs, an unknown author had beaten her to the punchline.

The e-book, authored by Bassey Edward, is currently on sale on Kindle for $10 and features an unflattering old photo of the radio host on the cover.
