DDG confirms separation from “The Little Mermaid” star Halle Bailey

DDG and Halle Bailey have announced their split after two and a half years together.

Sharing a statement on Instagram, DDG wrote: “After much reflection and honest conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways. This decision was not easy, but we believe it is the best path for both of us.

“Despite changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other,” he continued, adding, “By focusing on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we built and the beautiful moments we shared.”

Bailey has yet to publicly comment on the couple’s split.

They reportedly crossed paths in January 2022 after they were seen together at an Usher concert in Las Vegas.

Two months later, DDG confirmed his new romance with The Little Mermaid asterisk in now-deleted Instagram a post on her birthday in which she will write: “Happy birthday to the most beautiful, most beloved, sweetest I love you forever .”
